Daemon and runtimes

The Statica daemon is a small process that runs on the machine where you want agents to execute. It auto-detects installed coding tools, registers a runtime for each, and streams logs and progress back to the workspace.

A runtime is the combination of a backend (the tool), a machine (where it executes), and a set of resource limits. You can have many runtimes pointing at the same backend on different machines — one per laptop, one per VPS — and Statica will route tasks based on availability.
